DYIP VS NLEX Game Prediction
Cardel is searching for youthful players as Terrafirma changes course as PBA Odds Prediction Today.
Johnedel Cardel, the Terrafirma's coach, has long had a vision for the course that team should be traveling.
"Kailangan ang mga bata, para mag-conform doon sa sistemang gusto naming i-implement, which is more takbuhan sa offense and more pressure on defense," Cardel bared in a recent interview.
Cardel already has several players, including guards Allen Mina and Javier Gomez de Liano, slotman Isaac Go, and other players in the second and third rounds of the PBA Rookie Draft. However, Cardel hopes to snag more young players.
"May mga iba pa kaming players na sinusubukan sa ngayon, na baka uubra," Cardel said. "However, the draft is primarily what I'm thinking about,"
For the time being, Cardel is pleased to carry on with his process of threshing things out, including his Dyip's Friday PBA On Tour collision with a revitalized NLEX at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City.
At 5 p.m., a game presented by Arena Plus and supported by Bingo Plus will take place.
The Road Warriors managed to break the win column on their fourth attempt with a 112-95 victory over Phoenix Super LPG on Friday, appearing to be more attuned to coach Frankie Lim's system now.
Lim stated that his team's defense contributed to the victory, despite the fact that newly acquired Ben Adamos scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Sean Anthony finished with a triple double of 22 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists to lead the surge.
"Maganda yung dinipensa namin nu'ng first half. Maganda din ang field goal namin. Malaking bagay kaya kami nakalayo," remarked Lim following the match.
On the other hand, Terrafirma was unable to build on its historic 104-92 victory against TNT two Wednesdays ago as it was defeated by Rain or Shine, 95-121, last Sunday, dropping to a 1-3 record.
"Outran, outgunned talaga kami noon," remarked Cardel, whose Dyip finished with a disadvantage of minus-17 in fastbreak points and was hammered by the Elasto Painters' ferocious 46-for-86 field goal shooting.
Cardel continued, "But I've said to the players that it's more vital that we keep improving as a team.
As long as they continue to put in the effort and work hard each time they are selected, they will be a strong candidate for the "On Tour" position for the entire team, according to the coaches.
